The next POW/MIA Parade & Ceremony will be on June 12, 2010!
POW/MIA Celebration!
All Ex-P.O.W.s will have a free room for them at the Ramada Inn located in Flora, IL on June 11, 2010. Request for the free room must be recieved by May 1, 2010. Contact Ruthie at 618-843-1476.
If you decide to stay after the May 1 deadline, still contact Ruthie to see if there are any rooms available.
TOUR THE FLORA DEPOT
June 11, 2010 at 3 p.m..
We will meet at the hotel so you can follow me there. After the tour, we will go to the Nazarene Church in Flora for a meal and to visit. Then you can go back to the hotel for a good nights rest, to get ready for the busy day of June 12.
Parade, Luncheon, & Ceremony
June 12, 2010 10:00 a.m.
If you are going to be in the parade you need to be there by 9:30 a.m..
The parade will start at the IGA parking lot (900 East North Avenue)
We will be taking you to the high school for lunch and a ceremony.
Ceremony should start at 1 p.m..
After the ceremony, we would like to take some pictures and then we can take you back to the IGA parking lot.

Our group will be going to the American Legion afterwards. The ex-pow's and guest are welcome to join us. We usually eat left overs.
A huge THANK YOU to the ex-P.O.W.s for all they have done for our Country! We also appreciate them attending our event and sharing their knowledge and stories.
